Please read and familiarize yourself with our Ocala Munch Rules.

The Ocala Munch Event Calendar.

A "munch" is a casual lunch or dinner with other local people who have an interest in alternative sexuality. We are get together to talk and socialize.

What is the Ocala Munch?  We are a group for discreet, consenting adults interested in face-to-face and online discussions in the Ocala (Marion County) Florida area.

As of June 2014, the format for our two different week night munch events will be:

  • Our main Ocala Munch ~ meets on the 2nd Thursday of each month. During this munch we will have Meet & Greet time followed by discussion(s) on various lifestyle topics. We hope to have guest presenters come in from time to time.  Demos may also occur.
  • Our Ocala Tuesgreetnight Munch ~ meets on the 4th Tuesday of each month. This is our more "informal" munch and is mainly a Meet & Greet ~ a time to come out to meet other local people involved in the lifestyle. No organized discussion time ~ just a time to come out to socialize with your fellow local kinksters!

Beginning in July of 2017 the Ocala Munch format will be:
~ Going back to the original format & reason this group was started, which was "to provide a local safe space for lifestyle adults to meet other lifestyle adults in order to keep people from having to go out to meet people alone".  To that end, the Ocala "Meet & Greet" Munch will meet on the 2nd Thursday of each month, and the Ocala Tuesgreetnight Munch will continue to meet on 4th Tuesdays.  At that time, both of these munches will become "a time to come out to meet other local people involved in the lifestyle. No organized discussion time ~ just a time to come out to socialize with your fellow local kinksters!"
~ Attendance Requirements will remain the same. (Please refer to the group's "About and Rules").

There will be no "play", no bondage, no SM.  Please dress casually, not as if you were going to a fetish party or night club.  Anyone looking at our group will think we are a bunch of friends hanging out, nothing more.

The Ocala Munchthe Ocala Tuesgreetnight Munch, the Ocala "Meet & Greet"and all events sponsored by the Ocala Munch group will be considered a Safe Space to talk about BDSM, fetishes, polyamory, open relationships, swinging, and more.  We are open to all genders and orientations. You must be at least 18 to attend.  Although we expect some of our discussions at the munch might spill over onto this FetLife group and others, please don't name others while talking about topics, unless you have their consent to do so.

Because people value their relationships with employers, family and "vanilla" friends, you should always act to protect their privacy.

Q & A:

Q. I am single and submissive. Can I come alone?
A. Yes.

Q. Me and mine are riding in on our Harley. Can we wear our leathers?
A. Yes.

Q. I have a burning question, I want to ask this at the munch and see what people have to say. Can I stand up and ask the group?
A. We can make a time for that. Get with one of the group leaders, please.

Q. I have never been to a munch before. Or kink party. Or anything, really. I am new, and I have a zillion questions. How can I get my questions answered?
A. A lot of questions can be answered in casual conversation at a munch. We planded & set up a Gateway program, a special hour devoted to answering the most common questions new people ask.  We call it the "Newbie Nooner".

Q. I have a service animal. Can I bring my animal with me?
A. Service animals are normally welcome in restaurants in Florida. Email us about the specific date you expect to attend and we will contact the host restaurant for assurances that your service animal is welcome.

Q. Is there a party afterwards?
A. No. At least, not one hosted or sponsored by the Ocala Munch group.

Q. I have general questions about munches - got any links?
A. Check it out -

What is a Safe Space?

The Ocala Munch (its soon returing version the Ocala "Meet & Greet" Munch), and the Ocala Tuesgreetnight Munch are Safe Spaces to talk about BDSM topics. It is for this reason that we ask the attendees to not publicize the location & to always protect the privacy of your fellow attendees.

What is a safe space?

  • A safe space is a place where anyone can relax and be fully self-expressed, without fear of being made to feel uncomfortable, unwelcome, or unsafe on account of biological sex, race/ethnicity, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, cultural background, age, or physical or mental ability; a place where the rules guard each person's self-respect and dignity and strongly encourage everyone to respect others. ~ Advocates for Youth from their website's Glossary.
